Retreat 2014

I was invited on a Retreat with the director of Restore Ventura and his family and I just got back today. It was an incredible time of recharging and relaxing.

So, when I was invited they kept calling it a ‘retreat’ and when I hear the word retreat, I think of like church retreats in the woods, in like a small, rustic cabin. A place where you have to bring all your own toiletries and no cell service.

What I got was a RESORT with my OWN villa!!!

Jesus loves me!!!

I was totally okay with the cabin set-up, but God definitely gave me 10x better!! I got a queen-size bed, a fully stocked kitchen, a huge bathroom, and lounge worthy couch and chairs!!!

We were at the Welk Resort San Diego in Escondido, but super close to San Diego.

I could have done ‘things’ but for MY vacation I chose to do a whole lot of nothing and it was amazing. I got to sleep in, I read a lot, I watched some K-dramas, and I wrote some of my story. I had every intention of going to the pool or whatever but it just never happened.

I went out for a little bit each day, just so I wasn’t a total hermit, but my dream vacation is doing a whole lot of nothing, so that’s what I did.

It was good to relax, not be on any sort of schedule, not that my life is too scheduled… But it was nice to have NO schedule. But I’m back home now, ready to do some conquering.

Here are some more pictures, before I sign off…
